Mr. Alejandro Rodríguez Vega

Attorney Rodríguez Vega was a member of the Supreme Court of Justice of Costa Rica (Magistrate of the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice) and later Magistrate and first President of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice of Costa Rica; also, attorney Rodriguez Vega was President of the Court of Administrative Jurisdiction. He studied Public Law at the University of Bordeaux, France and Tax Law at the Inter-American Center for Tax Studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Likewise, attorney Rodríguez Vega was co-editor of several laws of Financial and Public Law such as: The General Customs Law; Reforms to the General Law of Public Administration; the Law of Constitutional Jurisdiction; among others. Mr. Rodríguez Vega was a Law Referee of the Supreme Court of Justice and member of the Commission that evaluated Judges who competed for promotions within the Judicial Branch.
