As of Monday, February 21, 2022, Costa Rica will request an entry visa from Venezuelan citizens, either for transit purposes or final destination Costa Rica. Citizens of Venezuela must request a visa consulted before the Consulates of Costa Rica duly accredited abroad. The visa will be granted for a single visit to the national territory.

New restriction measures during the end of the year and QR code application

The sanitary vehicle restriction will be relaxed this holiday season and will be from 12:00 midnight to 5:00 am. During Christmas (December 25th) and New Year’s Eve the vehicle restriction will be completely eliminated.
