Today was published in La Gaceta the resolution of the Ministry of Health number MS-DM-RM-6735-2021 where the list of vaccines accepted to enter Costa Rica was expanded. These are:

· A “complete vaccination schedule” is understood as the application of the total number of doses indicated for each vaccine by the pharmaceutical company and that the last dose was applied at least 14 days prior to entry into the national territory.
· A complete vaccination schedule will be considered to be those schemes adopted by the health authorities of other countries that combine vaccines from different pharmaceutical companies, as long as these vaccines have the authorization of a strict regulatory authority or WHO.
· The documentation that allows verifying the passenger’s vaccination status must indicate at least the following information: a. name of the holder, which allows directly linking the vaccination document to the passenger. b. brand of the vaccine applied. c. date of each dose applied.
Documentation to verify the passenger’s vaccination status must be presented in English or Spanish. Submission of documentation in any other language may preclude its review and validation
